Science- A Satire

Oh Science A ball falls when you let go of it? Objects move? When you mix two things together, it makes something else? Such mind-boggling, phenomenal, monumental discoveries that can alter the tides of humanity are all united by a common root: science.      Physics, chemistry, geology, and biology, are all numerous sub parts of this subject, each with their own charm. Their idiosyncrasy and enthralling nature finds allurement pivotally from it’s impossible difficulty. Humans have skin on their bodies? It's no wonder why we spend two whole years covering such a wide range of topics in the field of biology. ...

The Picture

Although I lounge back and susta...

Win or Sin?

Win or Sin? A cool breeze saturates my sweat into my pores, as the density rocks my head like a rocking chair. Hundreds of thousands of dim beady eyes let loose an electric field that dawns closer to my skull, scrutinizing my every twinge in movement. The soccer ball ahead of my foot cackles in my uncertainty, it’s black and white patches materializing in front of my eyes at every blink for the last fortnight. A burly hippopotamus  guards the thin barricade of netting where I must land the ball, his menacing glare unfazed and his position barbarous. As the grass sways around my feet like cheerleaders, and the suspense o...
