Taekwondo v.s Karate: Battle of the Titans       (Author's Note: This title may be misleading, but this blog post is actually about how TaeKwonDo is better than Karate, a thousand times through. Enjoy!      Did you know that approximately eight million people worldwide practice the disciplined art of TaeKwonDo? This population of sensible people includes a man named Richard Chun, who had remarked, "Your purpose in TaeKwonDo is not to fight, but to end the fight". Compare this to Karate, where 50% of the sport is to yell at people while kicking them as hard as you can to beckon foot pain/surgery. The point is, TaeKwonDo is better than Karate because it's safer, disciplines one further, and is genuinely more fun.      One reason TaeKwonDo is far superior to karate is because it is safer.
